Walker, Wheelchair, and Cane Cleaning Day

If you need assistance getting around, your mode of transportation (walker, wheelchair, or cane) can become your most valuable possession. It goes with you everywhere, it helps you live an active lifestyle – why not treat it to a spa day every now and then? 

At Canterfield of Franklin, EmpowerMe hosted a Sparkle and Shine Event for the residents. EmpowerMe meticulously washed, sanitized, and shined the residents’ walkers, wheelchairs, and canes. It was like a car wash experience, complete with bubbles, maintenance services, and music. They even had lemonade too! 

It’s important to take care of what takes care of you! Give your walker, wheelchair, or cane a freshen up and let yourself feel good as new as you take charge of your active life (with some slight assistance)!
